Phone Test Modes Documentation

Most cellular phones have what technicians call “field test mode",  which displays the signal strength more precisely, as numbers instead of bars. The numbers are shown as negative numbers so the lower the number, the stronger the signal. -80 is a significantly stronger signal than -90.
