Free of charge when purchased with any our cell phone signal booster kit which includes the lightning fuse (suppressor). We provide this lightning fuse grounding kit as a convenience to our customers who buy our cell phone signal booster kits that come with the available lightning fuse. We do this because we know how frustrating it is to receive an item in the mail that requires an unexpected trip to the home improvement store the before the item can be properly installed.

Note: Lightning fuse is not included in above grounding kit, but grounding kit is included free of charge with the purchase of any signal booster kit that includes a lightning fuse. The picture above that shows the lightning fuse is for example only.

Why use a lightning fuse?

A lightning fuse used in conjunction with a most wireless cell phone signal boosters becase is is such cheap insurance against a power surge caused by lightning striking near the outside cellular antenna. This could potentially damage numerous other electronic devices that are being used inside the structure or vehicle as well as the signal booster's in-line amplifier.

While few man-made products are able to withstand all acts of mother nature, we can say that, since 2001 when we opened our doors for business not one single customer who purchased and used a lightning fuse with their signal boosting kits has reported any damage to either the signal boosting kit's amplifier, or to any electronic components located inside the structure or vehicle because of an outside power surge caused by lightning. Numerouse customers have had to order a new filiment for the fuse after an electrila storm but had no electrical products damaged because of the storm, which was proof to them that it did its job.

On the other hand, numerous customers through the years who have not purchased a lightning fuse with their cell phone signal booster kits have reported to us damage to inside electrical components from small amounts to ruining almost every electrical component inside the structure or vehicle. One RV owner lost two televisions, a computer, and other items.
