The DataPro Direct Connect Signal Booster Kit is Wilson Electronics’ first cellular signal booster developed specifically for M2M (Machine to Machine) installations. The dual-band DataPro is ready to integrate with CDMA modem installations to provide strong, reliable cellular signal that ensures successful M2M data transfer. This product works on all North American CDMA networks.
The DataPro’s compact form factor makes it an ideal component for M2M installations in weak signal environments. Integrators and OEMs can pair the DataPro with a variety of expertly designed Wilson Electronics cellular antennas for maximum system gain to overcome a weak signal, mainly caused by distance to the cell site, or obstructions such as brick, steel, trees or hills.
How it Works
The DatePro is bi-directional meaning it boosts both incoming and outgoing signals to service levels consistent with what would be expected in areas of high cell network coverage.It amplifies weak and shadowed signals.
When using a Wilson Electronics signal booster in conjunction with the mini magnet mount antenna 301126, the outside antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to the signal booster.Cell phones and cellular data cards then communicate with the improved signal. When a cell phone or cellular data card transmits, the signal is amplified by the signal booster and broadcast back to the cell tower through the outside antenna.
